About Us

LEPACH (Light and Hope for Friends with Cancer – Let’s Do It Together!) is a civil association and authorized donor organization whose origins date back to 1979 when Ms. Elia María Coronel Pérez began visiting low-income patients in various hospitals to offer moral, financial, and administrative support.

For nearly 30 years, Ms. Coronel worked tirelessly on her own. In 2005, with the support of state authorities, she founded LEPACH, Patronage of the State Cancer Center (CECAN). Today, LEPACH has the support of distinguished members of Xalapa’s society. However, needs are ongoing.

In 2020, the Municipal Government of Xalapa recognized Ms. Elia María Coronel Pérez as a Distinguished Citizen for her work benefiting children with cancer at CECAN.

Mission
